In all of our lives there are times when things seem to be going badly. We may feel like running away, throwing up our hands and screaming, or just giving up. It can be because of many different things, but one thing is common amongst them: we just reach a point where we’ve had enough, for whatever reason. We can’t do it anymore. Well, we have to. What other choice is there, really? Sure, there are ALWAYS choices, but they’re not always valid ones. In situations like this, there is one main thing to remember. In the words of Freddie Mercury: “The show must go on!”
No matter what, the show must go on. Don’t give up. No matter your station in life, no matter what you do for a living, no matter if you’re rich or poor, white or black, male or female.. there are always going to be issues. There are always going to be things in your life that come along to try and throw you off track. These things may seem insurmountable, but they’re not. When these things come along, no matter how hard they may be at the time, we have to find the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. We have to remind ourselves (sometimes constantly) not to give up.
The show must go on.
Stop and think for a minute about the wonderful things that you could accomplish in life. Things that you want to do. You’ll never get there if you don’t try. You’ll never get there if you just give up, right? So what is one to do? Well, whatever it takes. No matter how hard. No matter how impossible it seems. Do whatever it takes to move forward.
“I’ll face it with a grin. I’m never giving in. On with the show.” ~Freddie Mercury
